THE US NAVY’S MERCY-class hospital ship, USNS Comfort, arrived in St. George’s, Grenada today, as part of their Continuing Promise 2025 mission.
This marks the ship’s 16th mission here led by the US Naval Forces Southern Command and the US 4th Fleet since 2007.
The mission aims to foster goodwill and strengthen partnerships with host nations, non-federal entities, and international organizations throughout the region.
The USNS Comfort will provide vital medical services to the people of Grenada as of today to June 14, 2025.
The ship’s mission here is in partnership with the Ministry of Health and embodies the spirit of cooperation and readiness, bringing the US and partner nations closer together.
