PR – Preparations are underway for the official commencement of works on the long-awaited network upgrade from Mt. Kumar to Tempe, under the GCREWS Project.
The affected corridor: Mt. Kumar – Snug Corner – La Mode – Hubbard’s & De Caul Service Centre – Tempe
Today, a coordination meeting was held with the Transport Commission, members of the National Bus Association (including North West and Grenville), the Royal Grenada Police Force – Traffic Department, Project Contractor, and the NAWASA project team to finalize arrangements.
This week will focus on preparatory works, with the official groundbreaking scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2026.
