The unions representing faculty and staff of the T. A. Marryshow Community College (TAMCC) have agreed on a 1.75 million dollars offer as part payment of increments owed to workers.

The decision was made following last Wednesday’s meeting with the Council, as it relates to payment of the balance.

The Public Workers Union (PWU) and the Grenada Union of Teachers (GUT) are expected to meet this week to address the matter of a signed agreement representing the part payment.

In a letter addressed to the College Council, Chairman, Augustine Vesprey, the unions are expecting a firm determination for the payment of the outstanding monies to the tune of four million, three hundred and sixty-eight thousand dollars ($4,368,000.00) and a detailed proposal before December 30.
