Hillsborough, Carriacou, September 3rd, 2025- In observance of International Family Day 2025, the Division of Social Development within the Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government organized an art competition for primary school students.
Six schools participated in the event, where students were tasked with drawing a picture of their family and highlighting what makes them unique.
Winners:
1st Place: Kimone Stafford, Hillsborough Government School
2nd Place: Monique Samuel, Hillsborough Government School
3rd Place: Zaniyah McLawrence, Dover Government School
The winners received art supply kits as prizes.
Probation Officer Amba Jules noted the enthusiastic participation from the students, showcasing their creativity and appreciation for their families.
