It has been brought to the attention of the Grenada Ports Authority that statements are being made in the public domain, in Carriacou, that the GPA‘s property at Hillsborough (former port facility) has been sold, leased or given to some foreign entity.
The Grenada Ports Authority hereby inform the general public that such statements are false; as the port facility at Hillsborough is still the property of the Grenada Ports Authority and by extension the State of Grenada.
In fact, the Grenada Ports Authority currently has plans to renovate the warehouse/building for its future endeavors, as well as address the concerns of the jetty.
