Four-time Olympian, Chris Brown of the Bahamas, is in Grenada.
Brown arrived in Grenada Monday night ahead of a Media Launch Thursday that will highlight plans for Grenadaβs Invitational Track and Field Meet next April.
When the idea came up to stage an Invitational athletics meet here, Brown gave the commitment to assist in the planning.
Chris Brown has a wealth of experience in organizing events of this nature, having held similar events under his name in his home country.
The 400-metre Olympian will be one of the presenters at the media launch Thursday.
It will be at the athletic and football stadium beginning 10 in the morning.
Chris Brown will be working with the Local Organizing Committee here to ensure the success of the inaugural event.
