The Grenada National Sports Council (GNSC) will host its third annual workshop to develop the National Sports Calendar with associations and other key stakeholders on Thursday, 18 September 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Grenada National Cricket Stadium.
The session will review calendar submissions to help prevent scheduling conflicts and promote greater collaboration among associations and stakeholders in setting their 2026 event dates. Participants will also provide updates on achievements for the period January–August 2025 and share plans for the remainder of the year.
In addition to the calendar review, discussions will cover other important matters, including Intellectual Property (IP) in sports, national club registration, and announcements regarding the Grenada Games 2027.
Chief Executive Officer of the NSC, Mr. Alvin Clouden, underscored the significance of coordinated planning across the national, regional, and international sports calendar.
“This session is about working together to strengthen our national sports calendar, avoid conflicts, and maximise opportunities for our athletes and associations. Collaboration is the foundation of growth, and the GNSC is committed to inclusiveness, accountability, and innovation in driving sports forward,” Clouden stated.
