Soca Preliminaries Kick Off Tomorrow At Carnival City

Thursday will see the start of the road to the National Soca Monarch ‘Fantastic Friday’ competition.

Some 116 Soca artistes will face the judges in the preliminary round of competition.

Thirty-two artistes are in tomorrow’s line-up, as they seek to secure a spot in the next phase.

Ice Chris will set the pace and he’ll be followed by Area Code 1(Brent Buckmire); Poison Pill and Maddy; Young G, Michael Mahon; Ms. Fluffy; Revelers; Sturna; Pappa Jerry; A J Matic, Pinky Fabulous; Pappy Boi; Sutty the General; Cash; Zeal; Terra D Governor; Master J; J. T; Maddy Maddy Family; De Stinger; Zone 2, Boogie B, Sylum G, ETO, Hasley Punch, Valene, Bramma D General; Phylony; Muddy; Areakode (David Campbell), Khaos and LED.

That’s the cast for tomorrow’s Soca prelims.

Thirty-one will take to the stage of Carnival City Friday night 32 Saturday and 21 Sunday evening.
