The Queen’s New Year’s Honour’s List for Grenada has already been published and five persons are being recognized for their contribution regarding the development of the country.
Reverend Dr. Raphael Osbert James has been appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Religious and Community Service.
Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) has been awarded to Dr. Heusent Ashton James for services to the Community and Health; Suresh Karnani for services to Business and Emma Logan for services to Business and to the Community.
And the British Empire Medal (BEM) is awarded this year to Sports Enthusiast, former national footballer, Carlos Anthony “Peckos” Lewis.
He’s recognized for national service to Sports.
