Police Investigate Hanging At Frequente, St. George

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 73-year-old Michael Simon of Frequente, St. George.

On Wednesday, 13 August 2025, following a report of a hanging, officers visited the home of Mr. Simon and discovered his motionless body hanging from the ceiling. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by a medical practitioner. A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

The Commissioner and members of the Royal Grenada Police Force extend condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Simon.
