St. George’s, Grenada; April 24, 2019; The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) apologises to consumers who received discoloured water due to an issue on the Les Avocat line that covers the Bocas, St. Paul’s, La Borie, Mt. Parnassus and surrounding communities in the parish of St. George.
An investigation commenced this evening and sampling of water quality at various locations throughout the network confirmed that NAWASA’s disinfection system was not affected.
While the discolouration is not pleasing to the eye, we want to reassure affected consumers that the water is safe for human use.
The Authority thanks all affected consumers who reached out to our team.
