The Ministry of Health has sent out a notice to the public of a two-day Food Handlers’ Certification Training to take place at the meeting room of the Gouyave Health Center tomorrow and Thursday.
According to a release, the training sessions will begin 1pm in the afternoon on both days. It’s aimed at equipping food handlers with essential knowledge and practical skills needed to maintain safe food practices and protect public health.
Participants attending the training are encouraged to walk with their own writing materials. The Ministry says the programme forms part of ongoing efforts to promote food safety standards and reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses within communities.
