PR – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises that it has received communication from United States authorities regarding a temporary pause affecting certain immigrant visa processing.
The Ministry clarifies that the measure applies only to immigrant visas (Green Cards). It does not apply to non-immigrant visas, including tourist, business, student, or other short-term travel categories, which remain unaffected based on the current information.
The Government of Grenada emphasizes that it will rely exclusively on official communication from the United States authorities in relation to this matter. Members of the public are therefore encouraged to rely on statements issued by the Government of Grenada and the United States, rather than unverified reports.
The Ministry remains in contact with U.S. officials and will provide updates should additional official information become available.
