Men Charged With Firearm Related Offences

PR – 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬, 33 years old, helper of Crochu, St. Andrew, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬, 24 years old, marine electrician of Café St. Andrew and 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞, 40 years old, Unemployed of Requin, St. David have been charged by police with the offences of Possession of Firearm and Ammunition and Discharging a Firearm.

The charges stem from investigations into a reported shooting incident that occurred at Crochu, St. Andrew, on Sunday, 14th June 2026. During the course of investigations, one Kel-Tec P50 pistol was surrendered to police.

All three men appeared before Grenville Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 17th June 2026, where the following sentences were handed down:

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬
• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐦: Fined $20,000.00ecc to be paid in 14 months; in default 4 years imprisonment

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Fined $20,000.00ecc to be paid in 24 months; in default 2 years imprisonment

• 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐦: a suspended sentence of 36 months, in default 36 months imprisonment.

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐦: Fined $ 20,000.00ecc to be paid in 14 months; in default 3 years imprisonment

• 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Fined $ 15,000.00ecc to be paid in 24 months; in default 2 years imprisonment

• 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐦: a suspended sentence of 2 years, in default 2 years imprisonment.
