A 72-year-old man, George Ettiene, commonly-known as โFire Ballโ of La Sagesse, St. David, is Grenadaโs latest road fatality.
He was reportedly knocked down by a van last night, in around close proximity to his home.
Ettiene, according to reports, died on the scene.
The incident occurred about a quarter to seven in the evening.
An eyewitness says Ettiene was walking alongside the La Sagesse roadway when he was hit.
Police investigations are continuing and a post mortem is to be conducted.
