Rennie Williams, a 35-year-old farmer of Mt. Parnassus, St. George, has been charged by police with the offences of Possession of Ammunition and Possession of Explosives.
These charges were brought against Mr. Williams after seventeen (17) C4 fireworks and one .32 ammunition were recovered during a police operation on Thursday, 25th December 2025 at Mt. Parnassus, St. George.
Mr. Williams appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court today, Tuesday 30th December 2025, where he plead guilty to the offence of Possession of Ammunition. As a result, he was fined $12,000.00 to be paid in four months, in default 12 months imprisonment.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on Thursday 22nd January 2026, to answer the charge of Possession of Explosives.
