Four of Grenada’s top bodybuilding and fitness athletes have been officially selected to represent the nation at the Central American & Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding & Fitness Championship in St. Lucia from September 24th to 28th 2025. The selected athletes are Andrew Hyacinth, Athlete of the Year 2024 and bodybuilder; Odel Cato, Athlete of the Year 2023 and men’s physique competitor; and newcomers Keron Collier and Javon Joseph, competing in bodybuilding and men’s physique, respectively.
The Grenada Bodybuilding, Weightlifting & Fitness Federation hosted a General Meeting on Saturday, September 6th at the Grenada Trade Center, which included final screenings for the CAC-bound athletes and initial assessments for those preparing to compete in the Grenada Olympia Glory Games 2025 with the Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship scheduled for November 8th and Strongman on the 15th of December.
The session was led by IFBB Pros Damion Daniel and Vonne Francis, with Daniel emphasizing that the CAC Championship is the premier regional bodybuilding event and expressing confidence in Grenada’s continued success on the international stage.
Grenada’s PRO Strongman and Federation Vice President Marcus Alexander encouraged athletes to participate in the upcoming Glory Games, calling it a vital platform for showcasing local talent. He also urged government, community supporters, and the public to rally behind the sport which is experiencing rapid growth across the nation.
The Federation’s proactive preparation underscores Grenada’s commitment to excellence in bodybuilding, fitness, and weightlifting, as the country gears up for two major competitions this year.
