Grenada officially launched what’s referred to as a National Cyber Security Incident Response Team to handle matters of digital violations, including scamming and hacking.
Launching the Cyber Security Incident Response Team, Prime minister, Dr. Keith Mitchell, with responsibility for ICT in the region, reiterates the Government’s plan to secure the country’s innovation platform, where globally, it’s usually affected by cyber scoundrels.
Dr. Mitchell says prior to today’s launch, individuals and businesses alike were faced with threats without a central point for support and advice.
He says with the launch of the National Cyber Security Incident Response Team, there’s going to be a change as of today.
