PR – The Grenada Football Association (GFA) is pleased to announce the official induction of over 50 promising young footballers into its Talent Development Scheme (TDS) Programme. The induction ceremony took place Monday at the Players Conference Room, at the National Cricket Stadium.
The newly inducted cohort comprises standout athletes from the Under 16 Boys categories. Through the TDS Programme, these young players will be integrated into a high-performance environment designed to bridge the gap between grassroots football and international standards.
The program offers a comprehensive curriculum involving rigorous on-field technical drills and off-field educational sessions. Players will be consistently assessed based on their performance ensuring a focus on continuous improvement.
“The induction of these 50 young men is a vital step in the long-term development of our national football product,” stated GFA President Marlon Glean. “By investing in these age groups, we are building a sustainable foundation for our future national teams.”
The programme will run from Monday to Saturday with each age-group on different days.
