Meantime, director AT the Grenada Bureau of Standards, Robert Medford, who was also present at this morningโs activity, says accessing the EU market is one of the areas high on their agenda.
Medford says theyโve received support through the EU via the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) for the Agri-Food project.
Itโs aimed at enhancing the value-added chain of the Agri-food sector.
Medford speaks of the scope of the work to be done.
Medford says while the bureau of standards supports individuals getting into the agro-processing sector, heโs warning about the standard of the products which will be on the market for sale.
