Grenada Beat Dominica 3-1 In Concacaf Under-20 Men’s Qualifiers

The Grenada National Under-20 Men’s football team begins the CONCACAF qualifiers in the Dominican Republic with a victory over Dominica today.

Grenada won three goals to 1.

Two goals were scored in the first half, a 13th-minute strike by Chiesa Clyne opening the scoring , followed by Kevon Maitland to take the game through the interval at 2-1.

Rondell Richardson netted the third in the second half.

Grenada/Dominica was the first game of the day.

The other games involve the Dominican Republic and Anguilla; Bermuda versus Barbados; the US Virgin Islands versus Montserrat; Puerto Rico and the Cayman Islands and St. Vincent and the Grenadines take on Nicaragua.

In games yesterday, Guadeloupe beat Belize 6 goals to nil and Curacao got rid of Saint Martin 5-nil.
