Grenada and CARICOM Development Fund Sign Grant Agreement For Post-Hurricane Beryl Recovery

The Government of Grenada and the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) have officially signed a grant agreement to support post-disaster recovery efforts following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Under this agreement, the CDF will provide grant funding of US$493,593 (approximatelyΒ  EC$1,322,829) to reimburse expenditures already incurred by the government in support ofΒ  affected farmers and fisherfolk for essential recovery activities, including income support, landΒ  clearing, farm inputs, and repairs to damaged agricultural and fishing infrastructure.

The Government of Grenada remains committed to the full and sustainable recovery of theΒ  agricultural sector in the post-Hurricane Beryl period.
