The month of November is being observed as child month here in Grenada, due to extenuating circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 situation.
Therefore, the Child Month celebration traditionally held during the month of October is being observed from November 1 to 30.
As customary Governor General of Grenada, H.E. Dame Cecile La Grenade, speaking on the occasion of Child Month, says the theme chosen for this yearโs observance is very timely, given the circumstances the country is now faced with.
Dame Cecile says the social and economic impact of the loss of more than 1 academic year for the nationโs students is yet to be determined.
She is calling on parents to do their part.
