The Government of Grenada is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Carvel Lett to the post of Secretary to the Cabinet, with effect from January 30,ย 2023.
Ms. Lett comes to the position with extensive public service experience, having servedย diligently in various capacities over her thirty-year career, including Deputy Comptrollerย at the Grenada Customs and Excise Division and Programme Coordinator at the Divisionย of Culture. Most recently, Ms. Lett held the position of Permanent Secretary (Ag) withย responsibility for National Security, Home Affairs, Information and Disaster Management.
Ms. Lett holds a Master of Business Administration from St. Georgeโs University and aย Diploma in General Management from The University of the West Indies.
The Office of the Prime Minister welcomes Ms. Lett and assures her of the Officeโs fullย support in her new position.
Ms. Lett replaces Ms. Ruth Elizabeth Rouse who served in the position from January 6,ย 2020, to January 27, 2023.
