The Grenada Government is getting ready for a conference mid-month that would decide on aspects of Grenada’s Home Grown Structural Adjustment Programme, (SAP) which comes to an end December.

Hearing from GIS, the meeting will bring together officials of the Ministry of Finance, the Committee of Social Partners and the Homegrown Programme Monitoring Committee.

Consideration will be given to which aspects of the SAP should remain and the features that may be discontinued.

The Conference is in-keeping with Prime Minister Mitchell’s commitment to have the Social Partners involved in the decision-making process, as it relates to the Structural Adjustment Programme.
