Families affected by yesterday’s fire in Chantimelle, St. Patrick, will be temporarily housed in some of the low-income housing units in the Villa, St. Patrick.

That’s according to Member of Parliament for St. Patrick West, Joseph Andall.

He visited the families yesterday assessing the extent of damage and offered his support.

The fire destroyed five homes in close proximity, leaving 17 individuals homeless.

In an interview with the Government Information Service, Minister Andall stated that plans are underway to provide temporary housing for the affected families.

Minister Andall is urging the public to come together to support the affected families during this challenging time.

Minister Andall listed some of the items that are needed at this time.
