The Grenada National Swim Team is into the final week of preparation for the 2018 OECS Swim Championship in St. John’s Antigua.

The coaching staff is said to have been concentrating on the development of the technical skills of the team.

The Grenada Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) says it’s continuing to have its eyes set on the championship title for 2018, and it equally values the long-term development of the National Swimmers.

Over the past year, GASA says it has seen the benefits of a great technical focus with an increased number of swimmers qualifying to compete and medaling at higher-level competitions in the Region.

GASA went on to note that the future looks bright for swimming in Grenada and focus on the foundation skills will ensure its longevity.
