PR – On Friday, 6th February 2026, officers attached to the Drug Squad conducted an operation at Grand Mal, St. George which led to the discovery of three (3) bales containing cannabis.The cannabis weighed twenty-four pounds (24 lbs.) and carries an estimated street value of fifty-four thousand, four hundred and thirty-two dollars ($ 54,432.00) EC.
As a result, 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝟐𝟒 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐩-𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐮 was charged with the offence of Trafficking in a Controlled Drug.
Mr. Charles is expected to make his first court appearance today, Monday, 9th February 2026 at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court.
