CEREMONIAL OPENING OF THE 4TH SESSION OF THE 11 H GRENADA PARLIAMENT

TOMORROW WILL BE AN auspicious occasion one more time for the Nation’s Parliamentarians, sitting in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. It’s the ceremonial opening of the 4th session of the 11th Parliament.

The highlight of the occasion will be the presentation of the Throne Speech by Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Cecile LaGrenade.

It will feature the plans and programmes of the Grenada NDC Government administration for the ensuing year.

The Throne Speech is a precursor to the Government’s presentation of the 2026 Budgetary estimates of revenue and expenditure.

The reopening comes after the parliament went on recess with the prorogation of the chambers on 29th August by the Governor General.
