Inter-Col Is Back

The Grenada Association of Principals of Secondary Schools is saying there’ll be Inter-Col Games this year.

There’s been a media launch a short while ago today signaling the start of things in preparation for the event.

It will be sponsored this year by Republic Bank and will be entitled “the 2020 Republic Bank Inter-Col Games”.

There was no Inter-col last year, resulting from a rift between the Nation’s teachers and the Government, over issues stemming from the matter of pensions and gratuity.

This had forced the Ministry of Sports to stage the National Secondary School’s games, to provide athletes with a measure of competition.

The 2020 games will run from March 31 to April 2.
