The Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) confirms that a police-involved shooting occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Grand Mal, St. George.
The incident resulted in Ishmael Holstein, a 25-year-old resident of Green Street, St. Georgeβs sustaining a gunshot injury. He was transported to the General Hospital, for medical treatment and remains warded as a patient.
During the incident, one black Cobra .380 Pistol fitted with a magazine containing two rounds of ammunition was recovered from Mr. Holstein. Ten grams of cocaine were also found which carries a street value of one thousand dollars ($1000.00).
Investigations continue into the incident.
