The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force advises the general public that the following traffic arrangements will be in effect for the commissioning of the new Police Headquarters on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 28, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.
𝐍𝐎-𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃:
Carenage Public Road will be a no-through road from Burns Point Roundabout direction. Vehicles will not be able to go beyond the bus stop after Spice Isle Imaging center between the hours of 𝟗:00𝐚.𝐦. and 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.
𝐍𝐎 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐍:
Vehicles will not be able to make a left turn onto the Carenage from Hughes Street between the hours of 𝟗:00𝐚.m. and 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.
𝐍𝐎 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘:
Carenage Public Road will be no entry from its intersection with Hughes Street towards the direction of Sendall Tunnel from 𝟒:00𝐩.𝐦. 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:00𝐩.𝐦.
𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐓:
There will be no entry to vehicular traffic from its intersection with Herbert Blaize Street from 𝟒:00p.m. 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:00p.m.
𝐍𝐎 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆:
Carenage Public Road from Bailey’s Funeral Home to the bus stop opposite Andall & Associates Supermarket on both sides between 𝟓:00𝐚.𝐦. and 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.
• Lucas Street from its intersection with Old Fort to its intersection with Woolwich Road.
• Lowther’s Lane Public Road.
• Archibald Avenue from its intersection with Lowther’s Lane to its intersection with Woolwich Road.
𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐍𝐎𝐍-𝐕𝐈𝐏 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐒:
Parking for Non-VIP attendees will be at Old Trafford Playing field and the outside perimeter of the Roy St. John playing field at Tanteen.
𝐒𝐇𝐔𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄:
A shuttle service (Police buses) will be provided from the parking areas at Tanteen to and from the event.
