Ken Lewis, a 51 year-old mason of Post Royal, St. Andrew, has been charged with the offense of Trafficking in a Controlled Drug.
The charge follows a police operation on Monday, 21st July 2025, during which a search warrant was executed at Mr. Lewisโ residence. The search led to the discovery of 111 pounds of cannabis, which carries an estimated street value of two hundred and fifty-one thousand, seven hundred and forty-eight dollars ($251,748.00 ecc).
Mr. Lewis appeared before the Grenville Magistrateโs Court today, Thursday, 24th July 2025, and was granted bail in the sum of $100,000 with two sureties. As part of the bail conditions, he is required to:
โข Surrender all travel documents
โข Seek permission from the court to travel outside the state of Grenada
โข Report to Grenville Police Station every Thursday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The matter is adjourned to Wednesday, 10th December 2025.
