The body of a 60 year old man was found in the St. Johns River, River Road, on Sunday morning.
The victim was identified as George Spangle Thomas.
Sources say an autopsy conducted on the body revealed that he died as a result of Asphyxia, Drowning and Head Trauma.
Police investigations continue.
