  1. Leslie FORTUNE, 19 yrs, Labourer, residing at Grand Mal, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offences of Housebreaking and Stealing Articles, valued $550.00 ECC.  The offences were committed on the 25.4.08.

 

  1. Maverick LEWIS, 19 yrs, unemployed, residing at Brizan, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing a wound.  The offence was committed on the 2.5.08. 

 

  1. Lalum PYSADEE, 27 yrs, Labourer, residing at Queen Street, Victoria, and Ronnie SANDERSON, 20 yrs, Student, residing at Mt. Moritz, St. George’s, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Stealing.  The offence was committed on the 3.5.08. 

 

  1. Dennis BENJAMIN, 43 yrs, unemployed, residing at Loretto, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Praedial Larceny, to wit; five cinnamon trees, valued $200.00 ECC.  The offence was committed on the 8.5.08. 

 

  1. Dwayne LAMBERT, 23 yrs, unemployed, residing at Telescope, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offences of Housebreaking and Stealing Articles, valued $3,825.00 ECC.  The offences were committed on the 7.5.08. 

 

  1. Curlan THOMAS, 23 yrs, Landscaper, residing at Dunfermline, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing a maim.  The offence was committed on the 7.5.08. 

 

  1. Keston WILLIAMS, 19 yrs, Labourer, residing at Mt. Horne, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Praedial Larceny, to wit; a quantity of tannia, valued $10.00 ECC.  The offence was committed on the 8.5.08. 

 

  1. Kenrick CHARLES, 48 yrs, Labourer, residing at Pearls, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Unlawful Possession, to wit; a quantity of grapefruits.  The offence was committed on the 8.5.08. 

 

  1. As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to the Carriacou Police Station and members of the Grenada Coast Guard Unit, at Carbwet Bay, Hermitage, Carriacou, three Trinidadian Nationals namely Landy SALVARY, 38 yrs, Jarvis PIERRE, 30 yrs, and Anthony ESTRADA, 36 yrs, all Fishermen of Carenage, Trinidad were arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Entering the State without the permission of an Immigration Officer.  Occurred on the 8.5.08.

  1. Micha HILLAIRE, 22 yrs, unemployed, residing at Grand Anse, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing a wound.  The offence was committed on the 26.4.08. 

 

  1. Based on information received, Officers attached to the Grenville Police Station, left on enquiries at the Casualty Department of the Princess Alice Hospital, where they observed Christopher BHOLA, 47 yrs, Labourer of Moyah, St. Andrew’s, who complained that his left hand had been chopped off by someone. He was attended to by a doctor and admitted as a patient. Occurred on the 7.5.08. Investigation is continuing.

 

  1. Zwande PANCHOO, 17 yrs, Mason, residing at Tivoli, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Maiming.  The offence was committed on the 4.5.08.

  1. Kim PHILLIP, 33 yrs, Coach, residing at Brizan, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing dangerous harm.  The offence was committed on the 4.5.08. 

 

  1. José ROSS, 21 yrs, Diver, residing at Brizan, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing a wound.  The offence was committed on the 4.5.08. 

 

  1. Clifton CASTLE, 25 yrs, Tour Guide, residing at Vendomme, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug, to wit; one wrapped portion of cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 6.5.08. 

 

  1. George BRATHWAITE, 43 yrs, Labourer, residing at Forde, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing harm.  The offence was committed on the 14.4.08.

CRIME REPORT

4.5.08-5.5.08

  1. Keith WILLIAMS, 33 yrs, Landscaper, residing at Constantine, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug, to wit; 30 grams of cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 4.5.08. 

 

  1. Based on information received, Officers attached to C.I.D, St. George’s, left on enquiries at Beausejour, St. George’s, where A Police Constable handed over to them one cutlass and a young man who gave his name as Kim PHILLIP, 33 yrs of the said address.  Kim stated that on the 3.5.08, while at ‘De Village’ in Beausejour, he and two young men had an altercation during which he sustained a stab wound to the left side of his back.  The Officers subsequently took him to the General Hospital, where he was treated and discharged.   While at the hospital, they observed the doctor attending to one Allan ROSS of Brizan, St. George’s, who had chop wounds to his lower back. The Officers were unable to speak to him.  According to information received, both men had an altercation during which they inflicted wounds to each other.  Occurred on the 3.5.08.  Investigation is continuing.

 

  1. Based on information received, Officers attached to the Grenville Police Station, left on enquiries at the Princess Alice Hospital, where they observed Emron PETERS, 25 yrs, Construction Worker of Tivoli, St. Andrew’s, lying on a bed with medical bandages on his left hand.  The Officers was unable to speak to him due to his condition. He was subsequently taken to the Princess Alice Hospital, where he was examined and admitted as a patient.  Occurred on the 4.5.08.  Investigation is continuing.

 

  1. Richard MARRAST, 32 yrs, Farmer, residing at Upper St. John’s, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Indecent Assault.  The offence was committed on the 12.4.08. 

 

  1. Kerry Kendon EMERY, 22 yrs, Mason, residing at Tivoli, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing a wound. The offence was committed on the 4.5.08. 

 

  1. Alex WALTERS, 22 yrs, unemployed, residing at Byelands, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Stealing from a dwelling house Articles, valued $880.00 ECC.  The offence was committed between the 24 & 28.4.08. 

 

  1. Alex WALTERS, 22 yrs, unemployed, residing at Byelands, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Stealing from a warehouse Articles, valued $700.00 ECC.  The offence was committed on the 26.4.08. 

 

  1. Dexter JOSEPH, 37 yrs, unemployed, residing at Belle Vue, Petite Martinique, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned by, for the offences of Housebreaking and Stealing Cash amounting to $30.00 ECC.  The offences were committed between the 2 & 3.5.08.

  1. Brandon CASIMIR, 26 yrs, Plumber, residing at Boca, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Murder.  The offence was committed on the 2.5.08. 

 

  1. Shane BROWNE, 19 yrs, unemployed of Beaulieu, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug, to wit; thirty-one balls of crack cocaine and one wrapped portion of cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 5.5.08. 

 

  1. Shane MENDEZ, 25 yrs, Fisherman, residing at Central Gouyave Estate, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Assault with a deadly instrument, to wit; a cutlass.  The offence was committed on the 12.4.08.

  1. Adrian FRANCIS, 51 yrs, Mason, residing at D’Arbeau, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of assault.  The offence was committed on the 28.4.08. 

 

  1. Flora BARTHOLOMEW, 44 yrs, Self employed, residing at Rose Hill, St. Patrick’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of causing harm.  The offence was committed on the 8.4.08. 

ACCIDENT

CRIME REPORT

2.5.08-3.5.08

  1. Based on information received, a party of Officers, left on enquiries at the Casualty Department of the General Hospital, St. George’s.  Upon their arrival they met and spoke to a doctor who took them to the Surgical Room where they observed Akim COX, 21 yrs, Bus Conductor of D’Arbeau, St. George’s, lying motionless on a stretcher with a stab wound to the left side of his chest.  According to the doctor, the young man was rushed to the Emergency Department with a stab wound to the left side of his chest and upon arrival he was examined and pronounced dead.  The Coroner was informed and a Post Mortem was ordered. The body was removed by La Qua Brothers Funeral Agency.  Occurred on the 2.5.08.  Investigation is continuing.
