  1. Naton WHARWOOD, 22 yrs, Mechanic, residing at River Road, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Causing Harm. The offence was committed on the 12.6.2009. 

 

  1. Lester CHARLES, 43 yrs, Machine Operator, residing at Requin, St. David’s and Javon FERGUSON, 19 yrs, unemployed, residing at the said address, were both arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession and Cultivation of a controlled drug, to wit: five Cannabis trees.  The offences were committed on the 30.6.2009.

  1. Eyon BAPTISTE, 40 yrs, Taxi Driver, residing at New Hampshire, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Causing Harm.  The offence was committed on the 28.6.2009. 

 

  1. Sam ALEXANDER, 33 yrs, Bus Conductor, residing at Malmount, St. David’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Intentionally and Unlawfully Causing Harm.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. Kevin DEGALE, 33 yrs, Butcher, residing at Harford Village, St. Andrew’s and Augustas JOHN, 35 yrs, Businessman, residing at Cook Hill Road, Grenville, St. Andrew’s, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Causing a Wound.  The offence was committed on the 14.6.2009.

REAH GEORGE, 21 yrs, Student, residing at Boca, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Uttering a Forged Document to wit: one National Commercial Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines cheque serial number 800828 in the sum of $7,000.00 ECC and depositing same into an account at the Bank of Nova Scotia.  The offence was committed on the 20.4.2009. 

   

  1. KENNETH SMITH, 28 yrs, Welder, residing at Hills View Gouyave, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: two ounces of Cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. DAVID BURKMIRE, 53 yrs, Unemployed, residing at Grand Roy, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: one wrapped portion of Cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. EARNEST MARSHALL, 50 yrs, Labourer, residing at Grand Roy, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: one partly burnt Cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. ROMANO ALEXANDER, 20 yrs, Unemployed, residing at Hope St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: one wrapped portion of Cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. CHRIS ST. PAUL, 23 yrs, Construction Worker, residing at Edward Street, Gouyave, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: two hand roll of Cannabis cigarette.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. CURT FRANCIS, 18 yrs, Farmer, residing at Mt. Rich, St. Patrick’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of an Offensive Weapon to wit:  a knife.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. KEVIN DEGALE, 33 yrs, Butcher, residing at Harford Village, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Maiming. The offence was committed on the 24.6.2009. 

 

  1. PETER FELIX, 49 yrs, Fisherman, residing at Maulty, St. David’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug to wit: one partly burnt portion of Cannabis.  The offence was committed on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. As a result of an Operation conducted by Officers attached to the    St. David’s Police Station and C.I.D, in the St. David’s Policing       area, two five dollars wrapped portions of Cannabis was found in   the Perdmontemps area.  No one was arrested.  Occurred on the   27.6.2009. 

 

  1. An accident occurred on the Douglaston Public road involving Mini          bus registration number HX 992 plying the western side.  The      driver lost control of the vehicle during which three passengers       Kevin Samuel, 24 yrs, residing at Edward Street, Gouyave, St.       John’s, were taken to the General Hospital.  Kevin was pronounced          dead on arrival.  Occurred on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. MARREN JOSEPH, 25 yrs, residing at Beaulieu, St. George’s      owner of Motorcycle P1337 stated that while traveling along the St.     Andrew’s public road, his motorcycle ran off the road and he    sustained injuries to his head, stomach, chest, hand and lower    jaw.  He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital and later    transferred to the General Hospital. Occurred on the 27.6.2009. 

 

  1. ANDERSON HOPKIN, 24 yrs, Grand Bras St. Andrew’s owner of   Motor vehicle registration number PX146 stated that while       traveling along the St. Andrew’s public road, the vehicle ran off the     road and caught fire he sustained injuries to his neck and was    taken to the Princess Royal Hospital and later transferred to the      General Hospital. Occurred on the 27.6.2009. 

 

ACCIDENT

  1. ERNEST DOUGLAS, 26 yrs, Painter, residing at Mt. Parnassus, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Stealing one Homelite chainsaw, valued at $2,000.00 ECC and one pair of brown boots, valued at $200.00 ECC.  The offence was committed between the 10 & 12.6.2009. 

 

  1. DANNY SYLVESTER, 17 yrs, Unemployed, residing at Sendall Street, Grenville, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of  Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.  The offence was committed on the 29.5.2009. 

 

  1. CANDY HANNIBAL, 23 yrs, Unemployed, residing at Paraclette, St. Andrew’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of possession of a controlled drug to wit: two balls of crack cocaine.  The offence was committed on the 29.6.2009.

  1. Miguel CHARLES, 27 yrs, Mason, residing at Hope Vale, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Housebreaking and Stealing articles valued at $5,050.95 ECC.  The offences were committed on the 13.5.2009. 

 

  1. Rick TOUSSAINT, 23 yrs, Stevedore, residing at Fontenoy, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Causing Harm.  The offence was committed on the 5.6.2009. 

 

  1. Dwayne HILLAIRE, 20 yrs, Mechanic, residing at Calivigny, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Causing a Wound.  The offence was committed on the 23.6.2009.

  1. Devon WALKER, 17 yrs, unemployed, residing at Concord, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Stealing cash amounting to $975.00 ECC.  The offence was committed on the 22.6.2009. 

 

  1. As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to S.S.U, C.I.D, Grenville and Grenville Police Station, a total of five Marijuana trees ranging from six feet to seven feet in height were uprooted in Pearls, St. Andrew’s, but no one was arrested.

Kelvon ANTOINE, 20 yrs, unemployed, residing at La Source, St. Mark’s, Knight FLETCHER, 26 yrs, Construction Worker, residing at Victoria, St. Mark’s and Kwane JONES, 21 yrs, Student, residing at Happy Hill, St. George’s, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Attempt to Commit a Crime, to wit: Stealing.  The offence was committed on the 23.6.2009. 

 

  1. Knight FLETCHER, 26 yrs, Construction Worker, residing at Victoria, St. Mark’s and Kelvon ANTOINE, 20 yrs, unemployed, residing at La Source, St. Mark’s, were arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Stealing items valued at $3,250.00 ECC.  The offence was committed between the 16 & 17.6.2009.

Police Notice

Error in Crime Report 10th June 2009

The public is advised that there was an error in the crime report dated the 10th June 2009 which reflected Ronald Edwards of Sendall Street Grenville arrested for the offence of Stealing. However, Mr. Edwards was arrested for causing a wound to Dennis Sandy of Pearls St. Andrew’s and not Stealing.

The Royal Grenada Police Force apologies for the error stated in the report.

23.6.09-24.6.09

 

  1. Garvin HOWILL, 20 yrs, Farmer, residing at Florida, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Dangerous Harm.  The offence was committed on the 20.6.2009. 

 

  1. Brian GURLEY, 20 yrs, Cold Room Attendant, residing at Cornets Walks, Gouyave, St. John’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Grievous Harm.  The offence was committed on the 21.6.2009. 

 

  1. As a result of an operation conducted by Officers attached to the Grenville Police Station, search warrants were executed in the Grand Bacolet and Telescope areas.  As a result, a total of fifty-one Cannabis trees ranging from one foot to three feet in height were uprooted in the mountain at Grand Bacolet, St. Andrew’s, along with one fine bag containing ten pounds of Cannabis being found behind an outside toilet at Telescope, St. Andrew’s, however, no one was arrested.  Occurred on the 23.6.2009.

  1. 16 yrs, Student, residing at River Road, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Stealing, to wit: one Mongoose Mountain bike, valued at $1,500.00 ECC.  The offence was committed on the 21.6.2009.

  1. Roy CALLISTE, 21 yrs, Carpenter, residing at Frequente, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Assault with a Deadly Weapon, to wit: a gun,.  The offence was committed on the 19.6.2009.

  1. Clint PETERS, 21 yrs, Self-employed, residing at Grand Anse, St. George’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Housebreaking and Stealing articles valued at $109,358.86 ECC.  The offences were committed between the 18 & 19.5.2009. 

 

  1. Lister THOMAS, 32 yrs, unemployed, residing at Bonair, St. Mark’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of Possession of a controlled drug, to wit: three ounces of Cocaine.  The offence was committed on the 15.6.2009. 

 

  1. Based on information, a party of Officers attached to the Grenville Police Station, went on enquiries by way of Pearls, St. Andrew’s, where on their arrival, a search warrant was executed at the home of Bernadine and Donnie Baptiste resulting in two black plastic bags containing one pound four ounces of dried plant material resembling that of Cannabis being found.  As a result, both Bernadine and Donnie Baptiste were subsequently arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of a controlled drug and Intent to Supply.  Occurred on the 19.6.2009.

 

  1. 14 yrs, Student, residing at Dudmar, St. David’s, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned, for the offence of stealing from a dwelling house.  The offence was committed on the 8.6.2009.
